Within this course we will be looking at the fundamentals of self-access materials design by taking into account the analysis of your teaching context and individual and collaborative construction of knowledge. You will learn how to design, adapt, and use self-access materials to encourage your learners’ autonomy, and support them in the development of language skills that allow them to self-direct their language learning.

SAM will enable you to reflect, to experiment and explore a range of tools and means of computer-mediated communication to enhance your understanding of collaboration online.  You will also be expected to pursue individually and collectively topics of specific interest. You will be able to design your own SAMs and share them with colleagues to receive their feedback.
